Warranty Terms
Effective October 6, 2026
Parts supplied by Black Crown Diesel LLC carry the manufacturer’s warranty. Black Crown Diesel LLC warrants workmanship for 12 months. Warranty claims are facilitated free of charge; labor to remove and reinstall a defective part after 30 days is billable.
Customer-supplied parts
Black Crown Diesel does not guarantee the fitment, condition, completeness, compatibility, or function of customer-supplied parts. Workmanship on customer-supplied parts is warranted for 6 months. Black Crown Diesel provides no parts warranty on customer-supplied parts; any parts warranty is between the customer and the seller or manufacturer.

Back to topDeposit & Cancellation Policy
Effective October 6, 2026
This Deposit and Cancellation Policy governs deposits, parts purchases, cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds associated with services provided by Black Crown Diesel, LLC (“Black Crown Diesel,” “BCD,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This policy supplements BCD’s Terms of Service, Refund Policy, and applicable quote, work order, or invoice.
1.Deposit Requirement
Unless otherwise stated in writing, BCD requires a deposit equal to 50% of the approved job total before parts are ordered and the installation appointment is confirmed.
The deposit serves as an initial payment toward the approved job. It is not an additional fee on top of the quoted price.
BCD is not required to order parts, reserve installation time, or begin preparation for a job until the required deposit has been received and the applicable customer authorization has been completed.
2.What the Deposit Covers
The deposit may be applied toward
- Parts and products purchased for the job
- Special-order or custom-order products
- Labor
- Installation preparation
- Approved travel or service charges
- Other costs expressly included in the approved quote
The remaining balance is due according to the applicable invoice or work order.
3.Parts Ordering
Customer understands that BCD may use the deposit to purchase parts or products specifically selected for the Customer’s vehicle.
Once a part has been ordered, BCD may be unable to cancel the order or recover the full purchase price from the supplier.
If a supplier permits cancellation or return, any refund received by BCD may be credited toward the Customer’s refund, subject to applicable restocking fees, shipping charges, return costs, or other supplier charges.
4.Special-Order, Custom, or Non-Returnable Parts
Parts that are custom, specially ordered, vehicle-specific, personalized, discontinued, non-returnable, or otherwise identified by the supplier as non-returnable may become non-refundable once ordered.
Customer is responsible for the actual cost of such parts and any directly associated non-refundable supplier charges if Customer cancels or materially changes the job after the parts have been ordered.
5.Customer Cancellation Before Parts Are Ordered
If Customer cancels before BCD has ordered parts or incurred other non-refundable job-specific costs, BCD will generally refund the unused portion of the deposit.
BCD may deduct any costs already incurred specifically for the Customer’s job, including approved travel, payment-processing costs that cannot be recovered, or other documented transaction-specific expenses where permitted by law.
6.Customer Cancellation After Parts Are Ordered
If Customer cancels after parts have been ordered, the refund will be calculated based on the actual costs incurred.
The amount retained may include
- Non-refundable parts
- Supplier restocking fees
- Return shipping or other return costs
- Parts that cannot reasonably be returned
- Labor already performed
- Approved travel or mobilization costs already incurred
- Other documented, non-refundable costs directly attributable to the cancelled job
Any remaining refundable amount will be returned to Customer.
7.Customer Cancellation After Work Has Started
If Customer cancels after BCD has begun work, Customer remains responsible for:
- Labor already performed
- Parts already purchased or installed
- Non-refundable supplier charges
- Approved travel or mobilization charges already incurred
- Reasonable costs necessary to return the vehicle to a safe and functional condition when such work results directly from Customer-requested cancellation or a change in scope
- Other amounts expressly authorized or otherwise owed under the applicable agreement
Any unused portion of the deposit remaining after these amounts are accounted for will be applied toward the final balance or refunded, as applicable.
8.Rescheduling
BCD may permit Customer to reschedule an appointment without cancellation when reasonable notice is provided.
A rescheduled appointment remains subject to parts availability and BCD’s scheduling availability.
Repeated, late, or same-day rescheduling may result in loss of the reserved appointment time and may require an additional deposit or other documented costs before a new appointment is scheduled.
9.No-Shows and Late Cancellations
A cancellation made less than 48 hours before a scheduled appointment, or a failure to appear or provide reasonable access to the vehicle, may result in BCD retaining documented costs associated with the reserved appointment.
Such costs may include labor time specifically reserved for the appointment, travel or mobilization costs, parts already purchased, and other transaction-specific costs.
Any remaining deposit balance will be handled according to the refund provisions of this policy.
10.Mobile Service and Travel
For mobile appointments, BCD may incur travel and mobilization expenses before arriving at the customer’s location.
If BCD has already departed for a scheduled appointment, the applicable travel or mobilization charge may become earned and non-refundable to the extent permitted by law.
If BCD arrives and cannot reasonably perform the approved work because the vehicle, location, access, conditions, or circumstances are materially different from what Customer represented, applicable charges may be retained as provided by the quote and this policy.
11.Customer-Provided Information
Customer is responsible for providing accurate information concerning the vehicle, requested products, vehicle configuration, location, and requested work.
If incorrect or incomplete information provided by Customer causes parts to be ordered incorrectly, prevents completion, or requires additional work, Customer may be responsible for resulting costs.
BCD will make reasonable efforts to identify compatibility issues before ordering parts but cannot guarantee that every hidden or previously undisclosed vehicle condition will be discoverable in advance.
12.If BCD Cannot Complete the Job
If BCD determines, before or during the job, that it cannot reasonably complete the approved work for reasons within BCD’s control, BCD will make reasonable efforts to notify Customer and provide an appropriate resolution.
Depending on the circumstances, the resolution may include:
- Completing the unaffected portion of the approved work
- Rescheduling the work
- Returning eligible parts
- Crediting applicable amounts toward an alternative solution
- Refunding amounts paid for work that BCD will not perform
BCD will not charge Customer for labor that was not performed.
Customer will not be responsible for a part that BCD purchased solely because of BCD’s error when that part can reasonably be returned or otherwise recovered.
If a part is non-returnable because of a BCD ordering error, BCD will bear that cost unless Customer supplied incorrect information or otherwise caused the error.
13.If the Job Cannot Be Completed Because of the Vehicle or Customer
If BCD cannot complete the job because of a pre-existing vehicle condition, undisclosed modification, inaccurate information, unsafe condition, lack of access, customer-requested change, incompatible equipment, or another circumstance outside BCD’s reasonable control, the Customer remains responsible for applicable costs already incurred.
BCD will return or credit any amounts that are not reasonably owed after accounting for completed labor, installed or non-returnable parts, documented costs, and other applicable charges.
14.Product Availability and Supplier Cancellations
Parts availability, manufacturer production, shipping delays, supplier errors, recalls, discontinued products, and other supplier issues may affect a scheduled installation.
If a purchased product becomes unavailable or cannot reasonably be supplied, BCD may offer a comparable alternative for Customer approval.
Customer may decline the alternative.
If no suitable alternative is accepted, BCD will refund or credit amounts attributable to products that BCD cannot supply, subject to any non-refundable costs that were actually incurred and are properly attributable to the transaction.
15.Refund Method and Timing
Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method when reasonably practicable.
The time required for a refund to appear in Customer’s account may depend on the payment processor or financial institution.
BCD may require sufficient information to verify the transaction before issuing a refund.
16.Partial Refunds
A refund does not necessarily equal the original deposit amount.
Where BCD has already incurred legitimate transaction-specific costs or performed work, those amounts may be deducted before determining the refundable balance.
BCD will maintain records supporting amounts retained from a deposit when reasonably necessary.
17.Customer-Requested Changes
If Customer changes the requested product, vehicle, installation method, scope, or appointment after approval, BCD may issue a revised quote.
Additional parts, labor, shipping, restocking charges, or other resulting costs may be added to the revised transaction.
A customer-requested change does not automatically entitle Customer to a refund of amounts already spent or incurred for the original scope.
18.Transfer of Deposit
Deposits are generally associated with the specific Customer, vehicle, and approved job for which they were paid.
A deposit may not be transferred to another vehicle, person, product, or service unless BCD agrees in writing.
19.Disputes Concerning Deposits
Customer should contact BCD before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback so BCD has an opportunity to review the transaction and provide supporting documentation.
Nothing in this section limits any rights provided to Customer by applicable law or by the Customer’s payment provider.
20.No Waiver of Legal Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to waive rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived or limited.
Any provision that is determined to be unenforceable will be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary to comply with applicable law while preserving the remaining provisions.
21.Customer Acknowledgment
By paying a deposit or otherwise authorizing BCD to proceed with a job, Customer acknowledges that Customer has had an opportunity to review this policy and understands that cancellation after parts are ordered or work has begun may result in amounts being retained to cover applicable costs and completed work.
22.Customer-Supplied Parts
Jobs using parts supplied by the Customer require a deposit equal to 50% of the quoted labor before the appointment is confirmed.
BCD does not guarantee the fitment, condition, completeness, compatibility, or function of customer-supplied parts. If a customer-supplied part does not fit, is damaged, is missing components, or is incorrect for the vehicle, Customer remains responsible for labor performed, travel and mobilization costs, and any additional labor required, and the labor deposit may be retained to cover those amounts.
Cancellations less than 48 hours before the appointment, or failure to appear or provide access to the vehicle, may result in forfeiture of the labor deposit to cover reserved labor and travel costs.
Back to topRefund Policy
Effective October 6, 2026
This Refund Policy governs refunds and credits for products and services provided by Black Crown Diesel, LLC (“Black Crown Diesel,” “BCD,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
This policy supplements BCD’s Terms of Service and Deposit & Cancellation Policy. Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
1.General Refund Principle
Refunds are based on the actual status of the transaction, including work performed, parts purchased, parts returned, supplier charges, and other documented costs incurred for the customer’s job.
Payment of a deposit does not automatically mean that the entire deposit becomes non-refundable.
Likewise, cancellation does not automatically mean that the entire deposit is forfeited.
BCD will determine the refundable amount by accounting for amounts actually owed or incurred in connection with the transaction.
2.Services Not Yet Performed
If Customer cancels a service before BCD has performed the applicable labor and before BCD has incurred non-refundable job-specific costs, the unused portion of the amount paid will generally be refundable.
Any applicable deductions will be limited to amounts properly attributable to the transaction and permitted under applicable law.
3.Labor Already Performed
Labor that BCD has already performed is not refundable merely because Customer subsequently cancels the remaining work.
The value of completed labor will be calculated according to the labor rate or pricing stated in the applicable quote, work order, or invoice.
If Customer has paid more than the amount properly owed for completed work and applicable costs, the difference may be refunded.
4.Parts and Products
Parts purchased specifically for a Customer’s job may be refundable only to the extent that BCD is able to recover the applicable amount from the supplier.
If a supplier accepts a return, the customer’s refund may be reduced by applicable restocking fees, return shipping, shipping charges, or other non-refundable supplier costs.
Parts that are custom, personalized, specially ordered, vehicle-specific, installed, used, damaged, non-returnable, or otherwise identified by the supplier as non-returnable may not be refundable.
5.BCD Ordering Error
If BCD orders an incorrect part because of an error by BCD, BCD will make reasonable efforts to correct the error.
Customer will not be charged for the cost of correcting a BCD ordering error.
If the incorrect part cannot be returned because of BCD’s error, BCD will bear the cost unless the incorrect order resulted from inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information supplied by Customer.
6.Customer-Provided Information
If an incorrect part is ordered or a service cannot be performed because Customer provided inaccurate or incomplete vehicle information, BCD may retain or charge amounts reasonably attributable to the resulting costs.
This may include non-returnable parts, restocking fees, shipping costs, additional labor, and other documented transaction-specific costs.
7.Defective or Damaged Products
If a product is defective, damaged, or otherwise subject to a manufacturer’s warranty, BCD may pursue the applicable manufacturer or supplier remedy.
Depending on the circumstances, the remedy may involve repair, replacement, credit, warranty replacement, or refund.
A manufacturer or supplier’s warranty process does not automatically create a separate cash-refund obligation for BCD beyond amounts BCD is legally required to refund.
8.Workmanship Issues
If Customer believes that BCD’s workmanship is defective, Customer should notify BCD promptly and provide a reasonable opportunity for BCD to inspect and correct the issue where appropriate.
Where a valid workmanship issue exists, BCD may, depending on the circumstances:
- Correct the workmanship issue
- Re-perform affected work
- Replace an affected component
- Provide an appropriate credit
- Provide another remedy required by the applicable warranty or law
A workmanship concern does not automatically entitle Customer to a full refund of the entire transaction.
BCD’s separate Warranty Terms govern applicable workmanship warranties.
9.Jobs BCD Cannot Complete
If BCD cannot complete an approved job for reasons within BCD’s control, Customer will not be charged for labor BCD did not perform.
Amounts attributable to parts or services that BCD cannot provide will be refunded or credited as appropriate, subject to amounts already properly owed or incurred.
If the inability to complete the job results from a pre-existing vehicle condition, unsafe condition, undisclosed modification, inaccurate customer information, customer-requested change, or another circumstance outside BCD’s reasonable control, the applicable refund will be determined under the Deposit & Cancellation Policy.
10.Partial Refunds
Where only part of an approved service is cancelled, unavailable, or not performed, BCD may issue a partial refund rather than refunding the entire transaction.
The refund will be calculated based on the portion of the transaction that was not performed or cannot reasonably be supplied, less applicable amounts already owed or incurred.
11.Overpayments
If Customer pays more than the amount ultimately owed, BCD will refund the verified overpayment.
Overpayments may result from duplicate payments, revised invoices, credits, cancelled services, supplier refunds, or other transaction adjustments.
12.Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
Customer should contact BCD regarding a disputed charge before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback when reasonably possible.
BCD may provide the applicable quote, customer authorization, invoice, work-order records, communication records, parts documentation, and payment records to a payment processor or financial institution when responding to a disputed transaction.
Nothing in this section limits any rights available to Customer under applicable law or the rules of the applicable payment network.
13.Refund Method
Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method.
BCD may use another reasonable refund method when the original payment method is unavailable or when otherwise appropriate.
BCD will not intentionally issue a refund to a different person or payment method without reasonable verification.
14.Refund Processing Time
BCD will process approved refunds within 7 business days after the refund has been authorized and the necessary information has been verified.
The time required for the refund to appear in Customer’s account may depend on the payment processor, bank, card issuer, or other financial institution.
15.Cash Payments
Where a transaction was originally paid in cash, BCD may provide an appropriate refund by cash, check, electronic transfer, or another agreed method.
BCD may require reasonable identification or transaction verification before issuing a cash refund.
16.Credits
When appropriate, BCD may issue a customer credit instead of a cash refund if Customer agrees to the credit.
A credit may be applied toward future BCD services or products according to the terms provided with the credit.
BCD will not represent a credit as a cash refund.
17.No Double Recovery
Customer is not entitled to receive both a refund and another remedy for the same amount or loss.
Any refund, credit, replacement, warranty remedy, insurance recovery, supplier reimbursement, or other payment relating to the same transaction may be taken into account when determining the amount ultimately owed.
18.Refund Requests
Refund requests may be submitted through:
Email support@blackcrowndiesel.work
Phone (813) 540-3203
Customer Portal blackcrowndiesel.work
Customer should provide the name associated with the transaction, vehicle information, invoice or work-order number when available, and a description of the requested refund.
BCD may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify the transaction.
19.Documentation
BCD may maintain records supporting refund decisions, including:
- Quotes and estimates
- Customer authorizations
- Invoices
- Deposit records
- Parts invoices
- Supplier return records
- Shipping records
- Labor records
- Photographs
- Communications
- Warranty records
- Payment and refund records
These records may be retained according to BCD’s Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements.
20.Legal Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to waive, restrict, or eliminate any refund, cancellation, warranty, consumer-protection, or other right that Customer has under applicable law.
If a provision of this policy conflicts with a mandatory legal requirement, the mandatory legal requirement will control.
21.Policy Changes
BCD may update this Refund Policy from time to time.
The version applicable to a transaction will generally be the version presented to and accepted by Customer at the time the transaction was authorized, subject to applicable law.
22.Customer Acknowledgment
By approving a quote, work order, invoice, or payment, Customer acknowledges that Customer has had an opportunity to review this Refund Policy and understands that refunds may be reduced by completed labor, non-refundable parts, supplier charges, and other amounts properly attributable to the transaction.
23.Customer-Supplied Parts
BCD does not guarantee the fitment, condition, completeness, compatibility, or function of customer-supplied parts. Labor performed on customer-supplied parts is not refundable because a part fails to fit or function. Workmanship on customer-supplied parts is warranted for 6 months. BCD provides no parts warranty on customer-supplied parts; any parts warranty is between Customer and the seller or manufacturer.
Back to topTerms of Service
Effective September 20, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern services, installations, modifications, accessory sales, upfitting, and related work provided by Black Crown Diesel, LLC (“Black Crown Diesel,” “BCD,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to the customer (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”).
By approving a quote, work order, estimate, invoice, proposal, or service authorization; paying a deposit or invoice; signing electronically or physically; or otherwise authorizing BCD to begin work, Customer agrees to these Terms and any applicable policies incorporated into the transaction.
1.Scope of Services
Black Crown Diesel provides mobile automotive accessory installation, customization, modification, and upfitting services for trucks, SUVs, commercial vehicles, and other approved vehicles.
Services may include, but are not limited to, installation or modification of running boards, tonneau covers, trailer hitches, lighting systems, bed accessories, electrical accessories, switch panels, interior accessories, and other approved aftermarket equipment.
Unless expressly stated in writing on the applicable quote or work order, BCD is not agreeing to perform general mechanical repair, engine repair, transmission repair, diagnostic services, routine maintenance, body repair, paint work, vehicle wrapping, window tinting, tire services, wheel services, or other work outside the approved scope.
2.Approved Scope of Work
The applicable quote, estimate, work order, or invoice identifies the services and products approved for the specific transaction.
BCD’s obligation is limited to the work expressly included in the approved scope.
Requests made verbally, by telephone, text message, email, social media message, or other communication do not automatically modify the approved scope or price. Material changes to the scope, parts, labor, or price may require additional written or electronic authorization before the additional work is performed.
3.Additional Work
During installation, BCD may discover pre-existing damage, incompatible equipment, missing components, corrosion, seized hardware, wiring issues, structural conditions, aftermarket modifications, or other conditions that were not reasonably apparent before disassembly or installation.
When such conditions materially affect the ability, cost, safety, or method of completing the approved work, BCD may pause the job and notify Customer.
Additional work or charges will require Customer authorization before proceeding, except where immediate action is reasonably necessary to prevent damage to the Customer’s vehicle, BCD’s equipment, or property.
If Customer declines required additional work, BCD may discontinue the affected portion of the installation. Charges for authorized work already performed, parts already purchased or specially ordered, and other applicable non-refundable costs remain governed by the applicable deposit, cancellation, refund, and warranty policies.
4.Vehicle Condition and Customer Disclosure
Customer represents that Customer owns the vehicle or has authority from the vehicle owner to authorize the work.
Customer is responsible for informing BCD of known vehicle defects, previous accident damage, structural damage, aftermarket modifications, electrical modifications, security systems, immobilizers, remote-start systems, previous accessory installations, and other conditions that may affect the work.
BCD is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, hidden defects, deterioration, corrosion, improper prior installation, manufacturer defects, or damage unrelated to BCD’s work.
A vehicle may contain conditions that cannot reasonably be identified before installation or disassembly. Discovery of such conditions does not, by itself, constitute defective workmanship by BCD.
5.Compatibility and Third-Party Products
BCD will install products and components identified in the approved scope using reasonable professional care.
Unless expressly guaranteed in writing, BCD does not guarantee that an aftermarket product will provide functionality beyond the specifications of the product manufacturer or that it will remain compatible with future vehicle software, firmware, modules, factory updates, or other third-party equipment.
Third-party products are subject to the applicable manufacturer’s specifications, limitations, recalls, warranties, and policies.
Where a product is defective, damaged before installation, incorrectly supplied, or otherwise subject to a manufacturer’s warranty, BCD may assist Customer with the warranty process when reasonably practicable, but BCD does not assume the manufacturer’s warranty obligations.
6.Installation Methods
BCD will use reasonable professional installation practices appropriate to the approved product and vehicle.
Where reasonably practicable, BCD will avoid unnecessary modification of factory wiring, structures, or components. However, certain aftermarket products may require cutting, drilling, tapping, splicing, programming, disassembly, or other modification expressly contemplated by the product or approved scope.
Any material modification specifically required by the approved installation will be considered part of the authorized work.
7.Vehicle Access and Work Conditions
For mobile service, Customer is responsible for providing reasonable access to the vehicle and a reasonably safe and suitable work area.
BCD may postpone, relocate, or decline work when weather, lighting, terrain, traffic, environmental conditions, vehicle location, security concerns, unsafe conditions, or other circumstances make the requested work unsafe or impractical.
Additional charges or cancellation consequences arising from an unsuitable work location are governed by the applicable quote and deposit/cancellation policy.
8.Scheduling and Completion Times
Appointment dates and estimated completion times are estimates unless BCD expressly agrees in writing to a guaranteed deadline.
Parts availability, shipping delays, manufacturer issues, weather, vehicle condition, unexpected installation complications, customer delays, and circumstances outside BCD’s reasonable control may affect scheduling.
BCD will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delays and reschedule affected work.
9.Customer Property
Customer remains responsible for personal property left inside or around the vehicle.
Customer should remove valuables and unnecessary personal property before service.
BCD is not responsible for loss or damage to unsecured personal property except to the extent caused by BCD’s negligence or other legally actionable conduct.
10.Vehicle Operation and Testing
BCD may need to move, operate, start, test, inspect, or road-test a vehicle when reasonably necessary to perform, verify, or diagnose work included within the approved scope.
Customer authorizes such limited operation for service purposes.
BCD will use reasonable care while operating the vehicle.
11.Payment
Customer agrees to pay the amounts stated in the applicable quote, work order, invoice, or payment authorization.
Deposits, parts payments, balances, cancellation charges, refunds, and other payment matters are governed by the applicable BCD Deposit and Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy.
Failure to make required payments may result in suspension or cancellation of scheduled work.
12.Warranty
Any BCD workmanship warranty and any applicable product warranty are governed by BCD’s separate Warranty Terms.
The applicable warranty terms provided with the transaction are incorporated into these Terms.
No warranty is created beyond the warranties expressly stated by BCD or required by applicable law.
13.Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BCD will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from services or products, including loss of use, lost income, lost business, loss of opportunity, towing expenses, rental expenses, or other consequential losses, except to the extent such limitation is prohibited by law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit liability that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.
BCD’s responsibility for a valid claim arising directly from BCD’s services will be determined under applicable law and the specific circumstances of the claim.
14.Safety and Right to Refuse Work
BCD may refuse, postpone, or stop work when BCD reasonably determines that continuing would create an unsafe condition, risk of property damage, unlawful condition, unacceptable installation condition, or materially different scope of work.
If work cannot reasonably be completed because of a condition outside BCD’s control, the applicable deposit, refund, parts, and cancellation provisions will determine the financial resolution.
15.Electronic Authorization
Customer agrees that electronic approvals, signatures, acknowledgments, checkboxes, payment authorizations, and other electronic records may be used to authorize services and form or modify agreements relating to the transaction.
Electronic records and signatures may have the same legal effect as corresponding paper records to the extent permitted by applicable law.
16.Photographs and Documentation
BCD may photograph or otherwise document the vehicle and completed work for service records, warranty documentation, quality control, and dispute resolution.
Any separate authorization required for advertising, promotional use, or publication of identifiable customer information will be addressed through BCD’s applicable privacy and media practices.
17.Policies Incorporated Into These Terms
The following BCD policies may apply to a transaction and are incorporated into these Terms when provided to or accepted by Customer:
- Warranty Terms
- Refund Policy
- Deposit and Cancellation Policy
- SMS/Text Messaging Terms
- Privacy Policy
- Any written quote, estimate, work order, or service-specific terms
If there is a conflict between these Terms and a transaction-specific written agreement, the transaction-specific agreement will control to the extent of the conflict.
18.Dispute Resolution
Customer agrees to first provide BCD with written notice describing any dispute and a reasonable opportunity to investigate and attempt to resolve the matter before initiating formal legal proceedings, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking emergency or legally available remedies that cannot lawfully be delayed.
Any formal dispute will be governed by applicable Florida law, subject to any mandatory rights or procedures imposed by applicable law.
19.Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, except to the extent federal law or another mandatory law applies.
20.Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
21.Entire Agreement
The applicable quote, work order, invoice, these Terms, and any incorporated BCD policies constitute the agreement between BCD and Customer concerning the applicable transaction, except for terms expressly agreed to in a later written agreement.
No employee, contractor, representative, or other person may materially modify these Terms on behalf of BCD unless authorized by BCD.
22.Customer Acknowledgment
By approving the applicable quote, work order, invoice, electronic authorization, or payment, Customer acknowledges that Customer has had an opportunity to review the applicable terms and agrees to be bound by them.

Third-party providers may collect information through these technologies according to their own privacy policies.
BCD may update the technologies used by its website as its systems change.
10.Data Storage and Security
BCD may store customer information using third-party cloud, hosting, database, customer-management, payment, communication, and business-management systems.
BCD uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect customer information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. BCD therefore cannot guarantee absolute security of information.
Access to customer information should be limited to BCD personnel, contractors, and service providers who reasonably require the information to perform authorized business functions.
11.Data Retention
BCD may retain customer information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business and financial records, administer warranties, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, protect BCD’s rights, and maintain legitimate business records.
Different categories of information may be retained for different periods.
BCD may retain vehicle service records, invoices, payment records, warranty records, and related documentation after a transaction has been completed when reasonably necessary for legitimate business or legal purposes.
12.Customer Requests
Subject to applicable law, customers may contact BCD to request information concerning personal information BCD maintains about them or to request correction of inaccurate information.
Certain information may need to be retained despite a deletion request because of legal, accounting, tax, warranty, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate business requirements.
BCD may need to verify the identity of a person making a privacy-related request before releasing, correcting, or deleting information.
13.Children’s Information
BCD’s services are directed toward adults and vehicle owners or authorized users.
BCD does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 for the purpose of providing services.
If BCD learns that it has unintentionally collected personal information from a child under 13, BCD may take reasonable steps to delete that information.
14.Third-Party Websites and Services
BCD may provide links to third-party websites, manufacturers, product suppliers, payment providers, social-media platforms, or other services.
BCD does not control the privacy practices of third parties.
Information provided directly to a third party is subject to that party’s privacy policy and terms rather than this Privacy Policy.
15.Business Transfers
If BCD is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, restructuring, or similar transaction, customer information may be transferred as part of the transaction, subject to applicable law.
16.Legal Disclosures
BCD may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with a subpoena, court order, legal process, governmental request, applicable law, or other legal obligation.
BCD may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, protect the safety of persons or property, enforce agreements, or establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.
17.Florida and Other Privacy Rights
Privacy rights vary depending on where a customer resides and applicable law.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to restrict rights that cannot legally be waived.
Where applicable law provides additional privacy rights, BCD will honor those rights in accordance with the requirements of that law.
18.Changes to This Privacy Policy
BCD may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as its services, technology, legal obligations, or business practices change.
The updated version will be posted through BCD’s website or applicable customer-facing systems with a revised effective date.

Back to topSMS & Text Messaging Terms
Effective October 6, 2026
These SMS & Text Messaging Terms govern text-message communications sent by Black Crown Diesel, LLC (“Black Crown Diesel,” “BCD,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
These terms supplement BCD’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1.Types of Text Messages
BCD may send text messages in connection with the customer’s relationship with BCD.
Service-related messages may include
- Appointment confirmations
- Appointment reminders
- Scheduling and rescheduling information
- Quote and estimate communications
- Questions concerning a vehicle or requested service
- Installation and service updates
- Parts or product updates
- Job-completion notifications
- Invoice and payment communications
- Warranty communications
- Customer-service communications
- Responses to customer-initiated messages
Where separately authorized, BCD may also send promotional or marketing text messages concerning BCD services, products, offers, availability, and related promotions.
2.How SMS Consent Is Obtained
BCD may obtain SMS consent through its online intake form, customer portal, service authorization, written form, or another method designed to record the customer’s authorization.
Where marketing SMS consent is requested, the consent request will clearly identify that the customer is agreeing to receive promotional or marketing text messages from BCD.
Consent will not be inferred merely because a customer provides a telephone number.
Providing a telephone number is not, by itself, consent to receive marketing text messages.
3.Separate Marketing Consent
BCD will maintain separate consent for marketing text messages from consent necessary for ordinary service communications where practical.
A customer may receive necessary service-related communications even if the customer has not agreed to receive promotional messages, subject to applicable law.
Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services from BCD.
4.Consent Record
BCD’s systems may record:
- Customer name
- Mobile telephone number
- Date and time consent was provided
- Method and source through which consent was obtained
- The consent language presented to the customer
- The version of the consent language
- Whether consent was for service-related, marketing, or both categories of messages
- Date and method of any opt-out or revocation
- Relevant message and communication records
BCD may retain these records for compliance, customer-service, dispute-resolution, and legal purposes.
5.Message Frequency
Service-message frequency varies according to the customer’s requests, appointments, active jobs, payments, warranties, and other interactions with BCD.
Marketing-message frequency may vary based on BCD’s promotional activity.
BCD will not represent a fixed message frequency unless a specific campaign or service expressly provides one.
6.Opting Out
Customers may revoke consent to receive text messages by replying to a BCD text message with:
- STOP
- QUIT
- END
- REVOKE
- OPT OUT
- CANCEL
- UNSUBSCRIBE
Other clear requests to stop receiving messages may also be treated as revocation when they reasonably communicate that intent.
Upon receiving a valid opt-out request, BCD will process the request within the time required by applicable law.
7.Confirmation Message
After an SMS opt-out request, BCD may send a single confirmation message confirming that the customer’s request has been processed.
The confirmation message will not contain marketing or promotional material.
After the opt-out has been processed, BCD will not send additional messages of the opted-out category unless the customer provides new consent, except for communications otherwise permitted by applicable law.
8.Re-Subscribing
A customer who has opted out may provide new consent to receive SMS communications through a BCD-approved consent method.
A new consent record may be created when the customer affirmatively requests to resume text communications.
9.Customer-Initiated Texts
A customer may initiate a text conversation with BCD.
A customer-initiated message does not automatically constitute authorization for BCD to send unrelated promotional messages.
BCD may respond to the customer’s inquiry as reasonably necessary to address the communication, subject to applicable law and the customer’s communication preferences.
10.Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on the customer’s mobile carrier and service plan.
BCD does not control carrier charges.
11.Carrier Support
SMS delivery may depend on mobile carriers, telecommunications networks, geographic coverage, device compatibility, and other third-party systems.
BCD does not guarantee that every message will be delivered or delivered immediately.
12.SMS Providers
BCD may use third-party SMS or communications providers to transmit and manage text messages.
Those providers may process telephone numbers, message content, delivery information, opt-out information, and other information necessary to provide SMS services.
Use of such providers is subject to BCD’s Privacy Policy and applicable provider agreements.
13.Privacy
Information collected or processed in connection with SMS communications is handled according to BCD’s Privacy Policy.
BCD does not sell SMS consent records or customer telephone numbers as a standalone product.
14.Changes to SMS Terms
BCD may modify these SMS Terms when necessary to reflect changes in its communication practices, technology, or legal requirements.
The current version will be made available through BCD’s website or applicable customer-facing systems.

16.Customer Acknowledgment
By affirmatively providing SMS consent through a BCD-approved consent mechanism, the customer acknowledges that the customer has reviewed the applicable SMS disclosure and agrees to receive the categories of text messages identified during the consent process.
SMS consent is separate from acceptance of BCD’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
